Greenbrae, California is a small area of Marin County anchored by the Bon Air Shopping Center with its excellent stores and restaurants, Marin General Hospital, and the commuter ferry terminal at Larkspur Landing on the east side of Highway 101. The ferryboats into San Francisco turn what could be a difficult commute into an hour of pleasure with friends while traveling to and from work.

Corte Madera Creek also runs alongside of Greenbrae, which is home to the Marin Rowing Association Boathouse.

Greenbrae's neighborhoods are bordered by downtown Larkspur to the south, Larkspur Landing to the east, the unincorporated area of Kentfield to the west, and the city of San Rafael to the north.
